Many years ago I used to do crochet, mainly square blankets, I did not have the internet at that time and gave it up, however, about a month ago I decided that I would like to try it again.
I really wanted to crochet my own flowers for my cards and projects, I started searching YouTube for beginners tutorials, bought myself some wool and crochet hooks and tried out some of the easier tutorials.
I cannot believe how much I have learned in such a short time, I can now do different stitches such as
Single Crochet, Double Crochet, Treble Crochet, Double Treble Crochet, Picot, Magic Circle to name just a few.
In all my years I have never been able to read a pattern I can now follow a pattern with not too many problems, I have never created anything like these projects in my life before, I am well chuffed.
I owe the lovely men and women who have taken the time to make tutorial videos for my new found love in crafts.
I will be adding many other projects on a regular basis, I do hope that you may also find some inspiration and enjoy looking at what I have made.

No pattern followed just crocheted a cover using double thread of pink and white, I then added a double layered flower a pink circle centre and button.

You are making me want to take up crochet again Lorraine. When I was younger I crocheted all the time. When my nephews and nieces were babies they all had full layettes etc. Plus shawls, sweaters etc. Now I think I'll be having another go - if I can remember after all this time! Hugs Christine xx
